Guimaras is a small island situated between Negros Island and Panay Island. It has beautiful beaches and noted for the finest, sweetest mangoes in the Philippines.
Steve’s first time to Guimaras island and he was struck immediately by the beauty and serenity of the island.
We stayed at the wonderful California Coral Beach Resort at Nueva Valencia, Guimaras
From Bacolod take a ferry to Iloilo. It would be between 1hour 15 minutes to 1 hour.
On arrival in Iloilo make for the Ortiz Wharf.
On arrival at Port of Jordan, Guimaras you have a choice of jeepney, tricycle or aircon taxi.
You can also try – Pulupandan to Buenavista, Guimaras between 2 hours travel time. I tried that a couple of years ago, but will not do it again. Lol
